    To study in the UK, you generally need to prove your English proficiency with a test like IELTS, PTE, or TOEFL. The requirement is typically an overall score of 5.5 or higher in IELTS, with no section below 5.5.

Work While You Study

 Universities with Tier 4 License

  • UG/PG Degree: Work up to 20 hrs per week While your studies and full-time Throughout
  • Diploma Level: Up to 10 hours per week Throughout your studies and full-time during holidays.
  • Student’s Dependent: If you are joined in a research-based master’s program at NQF Level 7 or higher is eligible full time

  • Bachelors with Sandwich Year: A 4-year program that incorporates a 1-year internship after completing the second year.
  • Integrated Masters with a Sandwich Year: Five years (both UG & PG education with a one-year internship).
Post Study Work Visa in UK

The UK Graduate Immigration Route allows global students to remain in the UK for at minimum two years after their educations have completed. To qualify, you need:

• A Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree listed on your Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS).
• A Tier 4 or student visa is mandatory when you apply.
PhD, students can extend visa for up to 3 years.

  • Student should be able to justify the gap during VISA Interview.
How many backlogs are accepted by UK universities?
  • Some traditional high ranked universities like University of Glasgow, Queen Mary University of London, University of Birmingham do not accept students with more than 4 Backlogs. Students with 35-40 Backlogs have been accepted by many UK Universities if their overall percentage is good requirements or preferences.
Is there a way to bring spouse to the United Kingdom?
  • The Dependents are allowed with students if they are applying for research / PhD
    level course.
  • In this case dependents are allowed to work full-time. Dependents of a
    student can go along with the student or can even join them later.

What are the Immigration Health Surcharge for UK student visas?
  • Starting February 6th, 2024, the Immigration Health Surcharge for UK student visas is £776 per year, payable upfront for the entire visa duration, replacing the previous £624 fee.
  • This payment is mandatory and integrated into the UK visa application process, with no application accepted without it.
Can a student reapply for a UK visa after being refused, and under what conditions?
  • If a student’s UK visa application is rejected, they can try again by showing big changes in their situation that caused the rejection.
  • If the rejection was because of money or not enough documents, they can ask the university for a new CAS.
  • But if the rejection was because of trust issues or a Genuine Student Test interview, the university will not give a new CAS, and they cannot apply again for a UK visa.
